Really lots of stuff coming out negative. What I think is the most compelling argument why none of the research means ANYTHING is that 5 years ago my doctor would look at me like I was an idiot if I even suggested checking my skin. No he is not a bad doctor I asked everyone I know and none had their skin checked until sometime over the past 10 years.
So, what is happening is more people are being checked on a regular basis. This means that people that would literally live their entire life without ever getting checked are now more often being checked.
What am I saying... I think the increase in cases is directly related to the total number of people being checked. I bet the percentage of people checked having any skin issues is down massively but when 10 times more people are checked each year you simply have to have a spike in total number identified.
