How many of you are REALLY selling lotions that cost more than $50

Most lotion we sold is under 50. However, every once in a while a lotion sells even with a higher price. My best example is Black tanning lotion which sold maybe 70-80 bottles last season. It was an absolute slam dunk sale and easy to get. I would buy 6 and they would be gone before I got them in. Order 12 same thing. Good problem to have.

Over 50 bucks is tough to justify. Really this is a skin care item without much special stuff in it. The over 100 dollar bottles like Mon Ame, Vertu, With Love, Vendome all seem crazy priced to me. That extra 50 bucks could be used on a second months tanning.

If they have the lotion on hand...then why let it go to waste...the tanner will buy another month or membership with the results they receive.

$50 is pretty easy to sell if the lotion is a bigger bottle like 13.5oz. But that is about the high point for us. Maybe 60 but no more. Some of the Devoted is over $100 per 7oz and that can't be sold by me.
