I keep seeing up versus last year. Wondering if others are seeing same.

Excellent. I think people are tanning instead of going away or whatever. It is kinda cheap versus other things and you look good and fell good from tanning. I am hoping we are depression proof.

This has been a great year for us for tanning. We do hair and have 5 beds to fill up the open space. Both businesses feed each other I want to do more locations just trying to get the money. I have good credit but the banks are tough right now. Credit lines I used to have for 40-50k have shrunk to 10k even though I pay on time and am not overstressed.

I hope the money frees up soon so businesses like mine can expand. I understand many are hurting but not giving me money means I can't hire more people for a new salon. Actually I'd like to do 2 but that is completely impossible now.

Yeah we were doing really well to start, seems to slowed a little but still ahead overall.  Lotion sales are down which is the main reason.  Guess not as much extra money.  Weather didnt help either, would like a nice cool spring, no rain.

Well it looks like the month may end up positive but it's still just one month.  Just feels like it's not a down economy but that this is just the way it is now.  Glad I am still ahead enough to pay the bills.

Yes business is good, I've havent been online as much the last few days due to work at my job (wife runs the salon really)  which is good.  We closed out the month very strong and ended up down maybe 10% which is great considering we were on a pace to be down about 30-40%.  Lotion sales were great.  We are also doing a red carpet event Monday/Tuesday to kickstart out final month before college lets out.  Should be one more great month then the summer time we die down alot.
