I started at a new salon that just opened a couple months ago, I've been there over 2 weeks. I just moved to this city and got every job I applied for. I've been doing hair 11 years and feel confident my work is great. I was told the other day that they had my me a blowout appointment at gene juarez, to see their customer service example. They told me it wasn't cause there's anything wrong with my customer service or styling skills, they just thought it'd be fun for me to check out how other places run, that it would be fun and to be openminded. I told them it made me uncomfortable and that if I'd wanted to work for gene juarez, I would have. I was still made to go. Does this sound crazy and weird to anyone else?
