Looking for a good styling chair
« on: December 14, 2009, 07:51:36 PM »
My wife and I are outfitting a new booth-rental salon.  It's time to purchase equipment, and we are wading through all of the options and prices on chairs.  Is there a specific chair out there that stylists are happy with?  Something durable, comfortable, easy to work with, and hopefully not terribly expensive?  Thanks!

Hello Chanster,

If you're looking to buy good chairs at affordable prices than i suggest samsclub.com

One of my friend just recently bought the inexpensive chairs from this vendor at near about $200

Hope it helps you.

I think you can find some pretty good deals with ultimate beauty and nailco.

There are a couple manufacturers that are not name brands like they carry. You can search just by typing salon equipment.

Problem is these things are used in a commercial environment and need to be high quality for all the pounding they take. I have used the tispro from nailco and have nothing but positives to say. It is not good looking stuff like the takarabelmont.com is but certainly it works for my needs.

Pricing depends on what you are specifically looking for but certainly under 200 is completely possible.

Hi Chanster,

I recently outfitted my hair salon with new chairs from a company called Minerva Beauty.  My designer found them on the web.  They have been in use for about three months with no complaints.  Chairs were about $250 with shipping. The shipping cost was fairly significant as the company was in Georgia and we are in New York City.  I don't remember the model number but there are photos of the chairs on the first page of our website.

I hope this helps,
