I HATE MY HAIR!!!!!
« on: March 10, 2008, 09:20:42 AM »
THIS IS FOR ALL OF THE WOMEN OUT THERE WITH VERY THIN HAIR, YOU HAVE TO USE LIKE THREE THOUSAND PRODUCTS TO GET A LITTLE TINY BIT OF VOLUME.  ANYWAY I JUST WENT TO REGIS IN THE MALL TO GET A HAIRCUT AND ASKED THE GIRL TO DO A LITTLE SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH THE TOP, WELL SHE DID AND I HATE IT!!  I AM TRYING TO DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT TO GO BACK AND ATTEMPT TO GET IT FIXED OR JUST LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE.  ITS ALL UN-EVEN AND LOOKS THINNER NOW THAN BEFORE.  I NEED SOME SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO DO WITH THIN UNMANAGEABLE HAIR.  I WANT VOOLLLUUUMMEEE!!!!!!!!!

FEEL FREE TO MAKE SOME SUGGESTIONS!!!

My suggestion would be to go to back to the salon and talk with the owner and maybe he/or she could fix it or ask for a senior stylist.did you buy the products recommended? If not ,there are plenty of good syling products to use for thin or fin hair.make sure you are not using products that will weigh the hair down.Remember after thin or fine hair gets to a certain lenght it looks thinner so keeping it above the shoulders is opptimum.

my advice is not to go to REGIS, they suck! REGIS also owns smart style in wallmart. look, you get what you pay for. low end salon = low end hair services.

Having worked and owned my own salon. The challenges that most clients face is "Communication" I don't mean this in a bad way.In your mind you know what you want it to look like..Right? but what may be conveyed  could be completely different! In other words ,what you say and he/she hears is different. As an owner/stylist i have made sure that my staff listen FIRST then repeat what the patron has said.ASk questions as many as it may take. This will eliminate any confusion as to your final outcome.Show them pictures in magazines or fotos that you might have where your style looks great.....VISUAL is everything...good luck
